Success for young breeders in new national youth flock competition

A new initiative aimed at younger Charollais members was launched with great success in the form of a National Youth Flock competition.

This virtual competition was open to all young breeders under the age of 30 from across the UK. William McAllister of the Artnagullion flock took on the task of judging the competition with guest judges and fellow young breeders Tom Evans and Rebecca Mcbratney also casting an eye. All entries were done virtually with no professional photographs or videos allowed.

First prize male from the champion flock winners, Eilidh and Erin Duncan

The overall champion flock went to Eilidh and Erin Duncan and their Braemuir flock, while the champion individual female and male went to James Danforth with Lodgehill Vanessa, while the reserve individual champion went to Eilidh and Erin Duncan.
