Brandywells flock disperses at Exeter

The end of October saw the Brandywells flock of Carol Irwin disperse to a top price of 1200gns for Brandywells 21XUA00398.

By Edstaston Ullswater, this one was out of a homebred female by Glyn Coach Pure Class and sold having been scanned for twins to Bincombe Admiral to Tom Nancekivell for his Heatham flock.

Next up and selling for 1000gns was Brandywells 20XUA00366, a Wernfawr Tyson daughter out of a Wernfawr Protector homebred daughter. Again scanned for twins to Admiral, this one caught the eye of Patrick Tully for his Bincombe flock.

Joining her at 700gns was Brandywells 21XUA00425, another by the Edstaston ram and this time out of a homebred female by the homebred ram, Brandywells Nougat. This one was scanned twins to Bincombe Admiral. A full sister then sold for 650gns to C D Griffin of the Whitcombe flock.

Also on the day was a draft of other Charollais females, including a reduction from Gerald Burrough’s Sheldon flock. Pen leader here at 500gns was Sheldon 22XNR01224, a Loanhead Washington daughter out of an Arbryn female, by Arbryn Tonto. This one headed home with Matthew and Jamie Collard and the Fairoaks flock.
