Northern Ireland Charollais Breeders Awards Night

The Northern Ireland Charollais Sheep Club held their Annual Dinner and Awards Night at the La Mon House Hotel. It was good to see the event well supported by members and friends. Club Chairperson welcomed everyone with a special welcome for Dumfries Breeder Ben Radley and his dad Scott who had kindly agreed to judge the Annual Flock Competition, kindly sponsored by Norbrook.

The Lornbrook Flock following a very successful Show season were awarded Male of the Year, Female of the Year and the Glenbrook Trophy for Show Team of the Year.

Before announcing his results Ben thanked the Club for inviting him and his Dad over to judge the Flock Competition, they had thoroughly enjoyed themselves and much appreciated the hospitality shown to them. The standard of the sheep presented were excellent

Winning Overall Champion Flock was the Tullyear Flock of Drew and Stephen Cowan from Banbridge. The Tullyear Flock also won the Stock ram Trophy with their Senior Stock Ram: Duiske V Man.
