Shows and Competitive Classes 2010

  • BALMORAL SHOW - 13th - 15th May 2010
    King's Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
    • Charollais Sheep Classes will be held on Thursday 13th May
  • THREE COUNTIES SHOW - 18th - 20th June 2010
    Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcs.
    • Charollais Sheep Classes will be held on Friday 18th June.
  • ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW - 24th - 27th June 2010
    Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston, Edinburgh.
    • Charollais Sheep Classes will be held on Friday 25th June.
  • GREAT YORKSHIRE SHOW - 13th - 15th July 2010
    Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
    • Charollais Sheep Classes will be held on Tuesday 13th July.
  • ROYAL WELSH SHOW - 19th - 22nd July 2010
    Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells.
    • Charollais Sheep Classes will be held on Tuesday 20th July.

 Rules for Showing Charollais Sheep

  • All sheep must be identified as specified by the Society and current UK legislation and registered with the Society.

  • Sheep must be shorn bare on or after 1st December.

  • All sheep should be shown on a halter unless directed by the judge or ring steward.

  • The exhibition of sheep with black spots is discouraged.

  • The exhibition of sheep with shaved heads is strongly discouraged and judges are encouraged to discriminate against animals presented in this manner.
