Champion of Champions 2010
Congratulations to Mrs Jennifer Curtis who took both the Champion of Champions award 2010 and the reserve ticket. Jennifer was victorious with a home-bred shearling ewe from her Elmwick flock in Worcestershire. Elmwick Jade has had an exceptional show season winning on all her 5 previous outings. The ewe is sired by Elmwick G4 out of a home-bred ewe. She was interbreed champion at Monmouth the previous week. She won a strong class of female champions and went on to beat the Male Champion of Champions for the supreme title.
Picking the winners was Worcester auctioneer, Mr Clive Roads. His choice in the male section was the two-shear ram Elmwick Index (DQ 8030). Sired by Foulrice Deacon out of a Highway Mr Softie ewe he was a previous interbreed winner at the Three Counties Show 2009.
