Left - New breed record holder, Dalby Jezzabelle sold for 7,000 gns to Angus and Sue Howie, Millhouse Flock

Right - Also going to the Millhouse Flock, Dalby Ice Baby for 6,600 gns

Left - Top price yearling ewe, Dalby Kirsch sold for 5,100 gns to Angus and Sue Howie.

Right - Dalby Hyacinth, top price 4 year old ewe sold for 4,200 gns also to the Millhouse Flock.

Dungannon Premier Sale 2011

Left - Champion and top price of the Dungannon Premier Sale 2011, Carnew 11ZXJ00162.  Sold for 2,900 gns to Rob Scott, Newton Steward, NI.

Right - Also from the Carnew Flock, the reserve champion, 11ZXJ00140 sold for 1,200 gns to Sam Wallace, Co Down.

Left - Top-priced shearling ram (Lot 7) from the Tullyear flock, sold for 2,300 gns to George Hammond, Stewartstown.

Right - 1st prize shearling ram (Lot 10) from the Rockvilla flock of Liz and David Mawhinney.  VV 0128 sold for 1,500 gns to Mr Garland, Cavan. 

Left - Lot 26 Doughery 11XYU00415 from Robert and Stuart Cromie sold for 1,300 gns to Richard Higgins, Galway.

Right - Lot 48 Tullyear 11QY00228 sold for 1,300 gns to Michael Power, Co Limerick.

Left - Lot 80 from Norman McMordie's Riverdale flock, sold for 1,000 gns to Ivor Wilson, Co Fermanagh.

Right - Lot 87 also at 1,000 gns from Sidney Corbett, 11ZWV00065 went to John Foster, Castlederg.

Left - Champion Female (Lot 102) and top price at 820 gns was this ewe lamb from George Booth's Beechview flock.  Purchaser was Eamond Quinlivan, Co Clare.

Right - Winner of the untrimmed ram lamb class was from the Craigh Brothers.  Lot 39 sold for 580 gns to Mr Wilson, Co Donegal.

Early Builth Wells 2011

 

Right - Thomas Hunter awarding the prizes at the Early Builth Wells ram sale. 

Left - Champion, ram lamb Lot 178 from the Wernfawr flock of Paul and David Curran, sold for 1,000 gns.

Left - Reserve champion and the winner of the shearling ram class, Lot 85 sold for 1,050 gns from Gerald Burrough's Sheldon flock.

Right  - A  good crowd around the ring, with Mike Evans on the rostrum from Brightwells.

Builth Wells Main Sale

Left - Top price at the sale from Dewi Pritchard Evans at 3,200 gns.  Lot 4955 was a first prize and was knocked down to the Logie Durno Flock.

Right - Top price shearling ram at 3,000 gns from the Mortimer Flock of Geoff Probert.  This Inglis Chalky son went to Huw Roberts, Bachymbyd flock.

Left - Shearling ram from the Foulrice Flock, Lot 4615 sold for 2,300 gns to Mr I E Lloyd, Nant-Y-Rhiw flock.

Right - The pre-sale show champion, Lot 4962 a Januaury born Logie Durno ram lamb, sired by Edstaston Jigsaw sold for 3,000 gns to
David & Liz Mawhinney, Rockvilla flock.

Left - Reserve Champion, another January lamb (Lot 4883) this time from the Parkgate flock of Alan & Herbie Kennedy.  He sold for
1,500 gns to Trevor Bell, Northern Ireland.  He was sired by Arjane Kukri. 

Right - Lot 4888 from the Highway flock of Dilwyn Davies, sold for 1,500 gns to Cyril Dougherty, Shamrock flock.

Left - Lot 4896 also from the Highway Flock sold for 1,350 gns to Laga Farms Ltd on Orkney. 

The judge for the show classes was Mr Geoff Biddulph from Cheshire.  He is pictured with (left) the champion and Mr William Ingram
and right with the reserve champion from Alan Kennedy.
