Guess the Weight Winner at Welshpool
We had a very successful day at Welshpool on 29th August with huge interest in four Charollais March born ewe lambs provided by Duncan Davies and Medwyn Lloyd. 128 individuals entered the competition and the eventual winner was Mr Wayne Evans, Lower Glyn Manafon, Welshpool who correctly guessed the combined weight of 228 kgs. One other competitor Edward Powell, Berriew, a recently new Society member, also guessed the correct wiehgt, so we asked auctioneer Glandon Lewis to draw the winner.
Mr Evans current used Texel rams, so we look forward to converting him to Charollais!
